Jr. Flyers Jr's Leapfrog Panthers Into First With Two-Game Sweep!

In what could well be a season-long battle for the top spot in the MJHL South's Brian Mullen Division, the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers got a leg up on the Central Penn Panthers, sweeping them in a two-game set this past weekend on the Jr. Flyers' home ice.
Vincent Masciantonio came ready to play, scoring a natural hat trick in the first period. His outburst gave the Jr. Flyers a 3-1 lead they would never relinquish. When the Panthers did climb back to within a goal at 4-3, Masciantonio assisted Wes Bonnell on what ultimately became the game-winner.
Christian Tasker had a goal and two assists for the Panthers in defeat.

Then, with just under 90 seconds to play Greg Ludwig got the equalizer. Ryan Frear's shootout goal was the difference-maker.
